We are currently recruiting an Operations Accountant to join our site in Shillelagh, Country Wicklow. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT Description & Responsibilities: To inform, challenge and support the site in achieving their purpose through the provision and interpretation of key management information. In particular: Financial reporting of and insight into Shillelagh overheads to ensure the best factory decisions and improvements are made based on accurate and insightful information. Building highly effective relationships with Finance Manager and site Senior Leadership Team. Help to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across the Finance Team. Improving systems, processes and reporting where necessary in line with KFMS principles. Preparation of monthly accounts, annual budget/projection, monthly forecasts and year end accounts. Ownership and detailed knowledge of all site overhead spend. Responsible for completion and submission of reports, analysis and data to the center to meet deadlines. Ownership of capital reporting and tracking of approved projects that are not being closed out. Take a full and active role in projects at Shillelagh to drive continuous improvements around processes and controls that meet site objectives. Ensure that best practices are embedded across the Finance team. Documentation of our finance related key procedures. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Kerry procedures. Take an active role in ensuring finance team development and delivery by setting up, challenging and supporting team initiatives, feedback and learning and assisting in cover of other team members where necessary. Take ownership of own personal development, including identifying areas for development and seeking support to address these gaps. Ad hoc duties/requests from Site/Central. Qualifications: Education: Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA) Post-qualification experience Educated to Degree Level Essential Skills: Excellent analytical Skills Advanced Excel Skills Hyperion SAP FI/CO knowledge Previously worked in a manufacturing based finance role Behavioural High Attention to detail Team player Work to tight deadlines Dynamic and enthusiastic Process and Service minded Whilst experience is important, finding the right person who will live and breathe our Kerry Values is something we are extremely passionate about.
