Valuation and Financial Modelling Manager

This corporate is one of Australia's largest logistics businesses. Sitting within the investment and valuation management team, the team supports the business in its decision making regarding the investment, allocation and prioritisation of capital investment to meet the strategic objectives. The team also focuses the business on shareholder value through understanding the IRR/returns profile of all corporate expenditure (be it large CAPEX initiatives through to external investments) and disposals.

Reporting to the Head of Investments, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the existing corporate valuation model

• Analysing various CAPEX projects, acquisitions and disposals and integrate these into the overall corporate model to assess their impact on the value and financial structure of the overall business.

• Interface directly with the Head of Investments & Valuation, CFO and external investors with your findings.

• Developing ad hoc financial models for any other key business decisions.

The successful candidate will have 3-10 years' experience in a financial modelling or corporate finance role with a proven ability in building and maintaining complex DCF models as well as an understanding of financial statements, debt structures and forecasting.
