A reputable organisation based in South Birmingham are looking to bring in a dynamic and hands on Assistant Accountant to join their team and support the accounting function for 6 productive months.

As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for providing accurate monthly management information and financial support to the Finance Manager and Budget Holders. This will include reporting, budget settings, undertaking budgeting meetings, assisting with the statutory accounts, providing financial information and helping to improve procedures where possible.

Ideally you will:

  • Have at least 3 demonstrable years in a similar position
  • Be advanced on Microsoft Excel
  • Provided reports for Budget Holders/Finance Managers previously
  • Be able to effectively analyse accounting data
