Purchase Ledger Clerk job with an education organisation in Stockport paying up to £10 per hour.

Your new company
My client is an education organisation based in Stockport. As the current post holder is leaving the business they are recruiting into their vibrant finance team, due to the reason for the vacancy there is a high chance of this role going permanent for the right candidate.

Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices onto the system and also matching PO numbers. You will also deal with supplier queries which will require you to build relationships with good communication skills, and also reconcile bank accounts. You will have the opportunity to get involved with other areas of finance so this is a good chance for you to gain exposure to new areas of finance you may not have previously been involved with.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous purchase ledger experience in order to hit the ground running with this role, experience working within an education organisation would be preferable but not essential. You will work well within a team and be keen to learn new areas of accounting which will help to enhance your career.

What you'll get in return
A salary paying up to £10 per hour dependant on experience with good scope for temp to perm. There are great opportunities for development within your role once permanent which will help to further your knowledge of finance.
