A leading Financial Services organisation is looking for experienced Business Analysts to work across various large Remediation projects within their Consumer Banking division.

This is an initial 6-month engagement (highly likely to extend, permanency options) where you will be required to work with a highly investigative and logical approach and make suggestions for change to encourage tight practices with confidence.

This will include:

  • Leading the definition of requirements and design of new/re-engineered business processes through effective engagement of stakeholders.
  • Providing recommendations for process improvements and re-design enabling changes to process and policy.
  • Ensuring that the recommended solution is aligned to the targeted business outcomes using both subjective and objective data that is factual and performance-based.
  • Preparing business impact and risk assessments for the proposed change and/or recommended business solution.
  • Collaborating with internal/external stakeholder and customer groups to elicit, analyse, prioritise, validate, document and communicate business requirements and solution design.
  • Managing/developing detailed Business Process Specifications, Business Requirements and System Functional/Non Functional Specifications to drive the desired change to business process, system enhancement/development activities.
  • Planning, estimating and reporting on Business Analysis activities.

This is a great opportunity for a confident and customer-centric Business Analyst with previous Financial Services experience. Ideally you will have experience with financial services Remediation projects in a previous role(s) and/or excellent knowledge of Retail Banking products life cycle end to end.

In addition you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven background in Business Process Re-Engineering & Improvement, Data Analysis, System Functional/Non Functional Analysis and business case preparation.
  • Knowledge of Project management disciplines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance obligations and risk management practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management ability.
  • High level of customer focus, initiative, analytical skills and logical thinking.
  • Lean Six Sigma - Green belt certification is desirable.
