As a result of a recent MBO a technology solutions provider based in central London is looking for a new Finance Manager.

Client Details

My client is a £30m T/O technology solutions provider based in central London. With operations across the UK they support blue chip clients and owner managed SMEs. They are entrepreneurial and have a collaborative team environment.

Description

My client is looking to recruit a new Finance Manager to support the FD. You will be tasked with managing the day-to-day of the function, leading on process improvements, and have a role in supporting ad hoc project analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of internal reporting activities to develop and provide accurate performance insight to the wider business;

  • Act as the key point of contact for the statutory audit;

  • Take a lead role in the planning process across both budgeting and forecasting, importantly working as a business partner to department heads;

  • Work with the sales team to confirm commissions calculations;

  • Help drive management information updates to provide better KPI information and proactively look at cost savings;

  • Lead a team of 4 part-qualified/transactional level staff;

  • Continuously look to improve reporting processes and controls across the organisation;

  • Ad hoc project work and analysis as required (e.g. acquisitions work).

Profile

As a strong applicant for this Finance Manager role you will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong academic background;

  • Demonstrate a strong technical background across monthly and yearly reporting;

  • Be comfortable developing KPI reports and putting together MI packs to support decision making;

  • Show the ability to lead the planning cycles and work effectively with non-financial stakeholders;

  • Possess strong leadership skills with a background in team management (ideally across transactional staff);

  • Have a commercial approach whereby you will look to increase revenue and reduce costs where possible.

Job Offer

The offer to the successful candidate will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience plus benefits including discretionary bonus, PMI, 3% matched pension, and 25 days annual leave.
