As a result of a recent MBO a technology solutions provider based in central London is looking for a new Finance Manager.

My client is a £30m T/O technology solutions provider based in central London. With operations across the UK they support blue chip clients and owner managed SMEs. They are entrepreneurial and have a collaborative team environment.
Description
My client is looking to recruit a new Finance Manager to support the FD. You will be tasked with managing the day-to-day of the function, leading on process improvements, and have a role in supporting ad hoc project analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of internal reporting activities to develop and provide accurate performance insight to the wider business;
- Act as the key point of contact for the statutory audit;
- Take a lead role in the planning process across both budgeting and forecasting, importantly working as a business partner to department heads;
- Work with the sales team to confirm commissions calculations;
- Help drive management information updates to provide better KPI information and proactively look at cost savings;
- Lead a team of 4 part-qualified/transactional level staff;
- Continuously look to improve reporting processes and controls across the organisation;
- Ad hoc project work and analysis as required (e.g. acquisitions work).
Profile
As a strong applicant for this Finance Manager role you will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong academic background;
- Demonstrate a strong technical background across monthly and yearly reporting;
- Be comfortable developing KPI reports and putting together MI packs to support decision making;
- Show the ability to lead the planning cycles and work effectively with non-financial stakeholders;
- Possess strong leadership skills with a background in team management (ideally across transactional staff);
- Have a commercial approach whereby you will look to increase revenue and reduce costs where possible.
Job Offer
The offer to the successful candidate will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience plus benefits including discretionary bonus, PMI, 3% matched pension, and 25 days annual leave.
