Corporate Services - Manager

Qualifications and Experience required: An attorney called to the Bar in Barbados or the holder of a specialist designation in corporate secretarial practice from Canada or the United Kingdom A minimum of 4 years relevant post qualification experience Experience with corporate legislation, practice and procedure Experience in the international financial services sector would be an asset Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience with due diligence and AML procedures and reviews would also be considered an asset Roles and Responsibilities include: Executing Corporate Secretarial duties with respect to a portfolio of domestic, regional and international clients within the Barbados and wider Caribbean Corporate Services practice Advising on corporate legislation, practice and procedure Reporting to regulatory authorities Attending to incorporation, amalgamation, registration, licencing, continuation and dissolution proceedings Producing shareholder, amalgamation and other corporate agreements and related documents Managing, mentoring and training more junior corporate services professionals Supporting the partners in identifying and pursuing potential new business opportunities Carrying out or supervising due diligence, quality and risk management procedures The Manager will report to the Partner and Senior Managers in the Corporate Services Division.
