About the opportunity
We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Workshop Leading Hand to be based at our Dubbo Branch. The successful applicant will lead a workshop crew focusing on customer satisfaction, flat rate times, technician productivity, efficiency and safety along with workshop housekeeping and job quality. You will have strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.

Responsibilities include

Coordinating the team's activities to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and best practice standards, ensuring all company, quality assurance and legal requirement are adhered to
Coordinating maintenance and repairs to earth moving componentry as required complying with manufacturer's specifications
Accurately diagnose faults with Caterpillar equipment
Promote and maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment

What we're looking for
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

Mechanical Trade qualification
Leadership experience with the ability to build a cohesive team with a common goal
Excellent diagnostic/fault finding skills
Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and organise work teams to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines
Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
Supportive and “can do” attitude
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment

You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
