Coverage Banker (Kuwaiti National Only)

JOB SUMMARY:

To build and manage a portfolio of corporate relationships at the branch in accordance with bank's Credit and Risk Policy and the Business Objectives.

MAIN DUTIES:

Responsible for building up, managing and servicing a portfolio of corporate relationships, mainly medium to large relationships, at the branch in accordance with the Bank's Credit Policy.
Responsible for ensuring the best return on the assets, keeping in mind bank's risks appetite and internal policies.
To actively participate in identifying and segmenting target market and developing new business and pursue growth opportunities.
To ensure complying with the Central Bank of Kuwait and the bank's credit, operation, market, AML & CTF policies to attain a satisfactory rating on asset portfolio quality and on credit management processes.
To Work closely with Kuwait Branch and other overseas units teams so as to conclude business opportunities in the best interest of the bank.
To actively participate with relevant unit within the bank in problem account handling and recovery.
To ensure that credit proposals are diligently prepared, reviewed and adequately supported with reasonable analysis of credit and are in line with the bank's credit policy and procedure.
To keep constantly abreast of market developments which impact the credit portfolio risk or revenue, take decisions and make recommendations for suitable changes in product or process if required.
Be well conversant with AML and CFT and Sanctions requirements and ensure the requirements strictly complied with. Be aware of latest rules and requirements under the respective laws and Sanctions.
