Managing Director - Shenzhen

VATGlobal is an International VAT technology company providing outsourced indirect tax services to businesses all over the world. (www.vatglobal.com)

VATGlobal is looking for an experienced and operations-focused individual to help us grow and develop our newly established Shenzhen office.

We already have 100 + Chinese clients (who mainly operate in the e-commerce industry) and this is growing every day.

The candidate must be willing to join a start-up type environment (for an established global company) to help us grow and develop the team and client base in China.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and manage an operations team of client service managers to service the existing and new client base
• Create processes and procedures to ensure efficient client service
• Coordinate with the sales manager in China and global sales to ensure all new Chinese clients are registered and serviced efficiently
• Manage relationships with all existing and new clients
• Set up and manage all administrative requirements of the company and office (bank accounts, payroll, procedures etc.)
• Generally help create and grow this exciting new business for VATGlobal

Skills / Experience:

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English. (Cantonese will be a bonus)
• Must hold a honours degree or higher from reputable university (ideally international)
• AT least 2-5 years' experience working in financial services or similar in an operations, client service or client-facing environment
• The candidate can be based in Hong Kong if happy to commute
