My client, operating in the utilities sector and based in North Bristol, is urgently seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to work as a contractor, for a 12 month period.
This role provides great autonomy for the right candidate to manager their own workload and deliver positive change for the wider organisation.

My client is a large and well known organisation operating in the energy sector.
Description
The key responsibilities of the role of Credit Risk Analyst will include;
Daily, weekly and monthly reports relating to credit positions and performance to be sent to local and
head office management. Including production of the Local Credit Committee pack.
Assisting the UK Treasurer in updating and administering the credit policy
Working with customers to ensure the flow of information for credit analysis and the daily management of account
positions. Where necessary negotiating credit solutions i.e. early/prepayments
Developing and maintaining effective risk management procedures for gathering, monitoring and reporting credit
information on the portfolio.
Controlled and efficient management of customers credit limits. From daily exposure and headroom reporting to
monitoring customer accounts and credit scores.
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Credit Risk Analyst will demonstrate;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an AR or Credit Function
- An understanding of credit risk and portfolio analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and evidence of competency in financial systems
- Experience reporting and presenting to Senior Management
Job Offer
In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of between £25,000 & £30,000, depending on their level of experience and qualification.
