Finance Assistant

• Dealing with queries from Financial Advisers and Employees regarding calculation of remuneration packages by checking the reports

• Running reports off MS Navision on invoice deadlines and cost comparisons from last year and putting the reports into Excel

Description

The role will be to support the Finance Manager and Management Accountant with the overflow of work including

• Dealing with queries from Financial Advisors and Employees regarding calculation of remuneration packages by checking the reports
• Running reports off MS Navision on invoice deadlines and cost comparisons from last year and putting the reports into Excel
• Making sure invoices are prepaid
• Dealing with ad hoc finance queries month on month
• Assisting with sending out credit control letters to clients who still haven't paid
• Calculating journals
• Assisting with month end journals
• Assisting with liability cash and liability journals
• Analysing spend
• Analysing expenses and putting onto an Excel spreadsheet
• Analysing budgets and report analysis

Will look at bright 2:1 accountancy & finance grads who want their first opportunity and they will train them or will look at AAT studier who may want some work experience

Would someone who wants more of an analytical role

Candidates must have advance Excel, v-look ups, pivot tables and good attention to detail

Enthusiastic attitude

MS Navision/Dynamics would be ideal

Profile

• The client will consider a recent 2:1 or 1st Accountancy & Finance graduate

• An AAT studier who is looking for their first opportunity

• Previous Finance Admin or Accounts Assistant experience

• Excellent analytical skills

• Advance Excel including v-look ups, pivot tables and good attention to detail

• MS Navision/Dynamics would be ideal
