Our client a leader in the Manufacturing and Logistics are currently in the process of hiring a Financial Controller to join their growing team. This is a new role and has come about due to the companies success and growth. Financial Controller The business is vertically integrated from manufacturing to supply chain/warehousing & distribution. Our vision of growth is organic along with targeted acquisitions in existing & new territories. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years at controller level working within a multinational environment with a big four background preferred. Responsibilities: Take ownership for all aspects of the financial reporting, financial control, working capital management, budgeting and forecasting functions Financial reporting; to include monthly P&Ls and quarterly management accounts internally and as required, externally. Commentary on each units performance highlighting success along with inefficiencies & suggested corrective actions Group tax planning & ensuring compliance with taxation requirements across all jurisdictions appropriate to group companies Management of VAT\Customs Warehousing & EU Returns Manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes and recommend, implement and maintain process improvements Responsible for year-end statutory & consolidated accounts and liaising with the groups external auditors to conclude the audits in a timely manner. Establish an Internal Audit function Ensure that the business maintains compliance with statutory, legal and insurance requirements Implement and manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and perform financial modelling for future cash flow needs for the business operations Treasury management & planning Preform due diligence and integration of newly acquired companies in to the Group Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting Be part of Brexit Planning team Role will involve international travel Requirements: Qualified accountant with 15 years PQE.
