Senior Finance Manager - Record to Report Slovakia, Slovakia, Bratislava Finance & Accounting 159150 Requisition # Jan 30, 2018 Post Date Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job Alerts What you will do Our Record to Report Team is responsible for completing general accounting transactions whilst at the same time, ensure that we meet internal and external reporting and control requirements. This role provides excellent opportunities to apply existing skills in a complex and interesting environment. In your role as Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for timely and accurate programming and reporting to achieve the target financial results, being fully compliant with local and US GAAP accounting rules. As part of your role, you will expect to manage, motivate and develop team members within your reporting line; driving benchmark studies with competitors and other JCI organizations to improve efficiencies and/or controls environment. How will you do it Full SOX compliance Guarantee compliance with JCI procedures for all Team / Group Members Set-up of Team Structure to support above Ensure the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ensure that external partners (e.g. PWC) and regional partners receive accurate and on-time information Ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of daily transactional volume Formulates and administers approved accounting Deliver department's continuous improvement savings Establish clear objectives for performance and quality across all Corporate / BU Finance departments What we look for Minimum 5 years as Finance Manager operational and strategic involvement BA/ MBA degree in economics graduated in business administration/ management especially accounting, finance, controlling Professional accountancy Qualification such as, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA FIA is required (or in process of obtaining the certification).
