Finance Manager

This is an exciting newly created role for a Finance Manager to join a well established business in Leicester and act as a solid no.2 to the Finance Director.

With well thought out strategic plans in place over the next 3-5 years, they are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Finance Manager to help them achieve their goals.

Description

This is a hands on Finance Manager role, acting as a solid support and no.2 to the Finance Director. You will support in managing the finance function and be hands on with all tasks from transactional level up. You will be required to provide quick and reliable costing information to the business and build models in order to support this. Additional to this, you will be involved in the businesses budgets and forecasts and be able to make detailed comparisons to prior year. Managing and developing a small team will also form part of the role as well as liaising with external parties such as the bank, HMRC and auditors where necessary.

Profile

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified
• experience working within a manufacturing environment
• A detailed understanding of cost accounting principles
• Excellent IT / Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in managing and developing a small team
• Commercial mind-set with the ability to challenge results
