Practice Manager - Cork City

Your new company This Accounting Practice was established over 20 years ago and has grown to 5 branches throughout Cork. The Cork city branch is focused on Accounts Preparation and Tax Advice. Audit and other services are provided for by Head Office. The City branch has 7 staff including a Tax Partner, Secretary and 4 Trainee Accountants. The Head Office provides full support in relation to Administration, Technical, Credit Control and Billing Your new role You will manage the day to day running of a successful practice, meeting and corresponding with clients to advise in relation to Accounts Preparation. The practice is operating very successfully and has an established client base. This role does not require you to go out and win large new accounts, firstly, you will be expected to understand the business and then develop the role at a steady pace. You will manage, mentor and assist junior staff so that they have the necessary guidance and training required to perform their duties. You will ensure all deadlines for Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Vat, Paye, Companies Registration Office are met. What you'll need to succeed ACCA /ACA /CPA qualified accountant. Experience of managing staff within a practice environment. 5+ years post qualification experience as Senior Accountant with significant accounts preparation assignments.
