Job Summary.

The job holder is responsible for the delivery of the HR Policies, Procedures and HR Annual Calendar activities in an area of responsibility in line with the companys aims and objectives.

The job holder is a professional advisor to the designated business unit, including provision of advice to the management team within the company. Tact, diplomacy and a high level of interpersonal skills are essential.

Job Description

Leading and Managing HR Initiatives:

• Actively takes part in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives, preparing relevant documentations as required, and ensuring appropriate liaison and consultation with staff, trade union representatives and stakeholders
• Act as HR generalist, taking responsibility of the HR function in the specific region of assignment. Provide support to the Company HR for recruitments, trainings, performance and general employee administration.
• Acts as a change champion, encouraging and supporting team members, and maintaining a positive and professional approach Cost and Financial Targets:
• Support the HR Manager in working within specified budgets for the 12 month period.
• Helping in preparing the annual budget for the department
• Oversees the team to ensure that all the required documents are submitted to the PR section within 48 hours of the request to avoid penalties on PASI, ROP and MOM.


Organisational Excellence:

• Contributes in activities to deliver organisational objectives, taking account of the Human Resources Generates an environment where excellent customer service and improved quality of performance is fundamental to service delivery
• Maintains an in depth understanding of the organisational structure to be able to advise the business unit on efficiencies and optimisation of roles ? Understands and meets the demands of key stakeholders, both internal and external


Continuous Improvement and Quality:

• Assists in the maintenance and administration of the human resources system (HRMS) to ensure the accuracy and quality of staff information
• Deputizes for the Human Resources Manager as appropriate to ensure positive representation of the Human Resources team
• Generates innovative and creative ideas to continuously improve the Human Resources service delivery
• Provides advice in relation to employment legislation and best practice to internal and external customers
• Takes part in training as necessary, and to self-manage development as a Human Resources professional


Team Management:

• Implements a performance management process for the team
• Managers the external audit review and action for the department
• Keeps the team motivated at all times.


Customer Focus:

• Keeps excellent working relations, by supporting and encouraging others and taking personal responsibility to ensure the delivery of results
• Ensures the best practice is delivered to meet the needs of the company, customers and stake holders
• Promotes the work of the company through the development of partnerships with other local authorities, customers, local businesses and external agencies.


Innovation & Value Addition:

• Proactively update and inform the management and staff on changes in policies and legislations.
• ISO and HSE Compliance:
• Support the HR Manager in HSE compliance in the regions.


• Work and maintain all operations within the ISO 9002 and HSE standards set by the company


Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration


Experience:

• 4 to 6 years in a similar role
