GL Accountant-Cork This large, award winning multinational is currently going through a considered phase of expansion & finance upgrade. In light of this growth they are looking to hire an experienced Financial Accountant to join their highly experienced General Accounting team. Scope of this new opportunity: In your new role you will you will have the opportunity to take ownership and work with both local & globally located finance and business teams. The role is primarily responsible for the accounting, US GAAP, local statutory & compliance functions for a number of Irish legal entities. This is a key role in a dynamic environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements. Suitable experience includes: 2+ years of relevant post qualification work experience from Big 4 and/or large public companies Highly skilled & experienced in the areas of IFRS & US GAAP Possess a commercial approach to accounting and see the importance of stakeholder management & interaction. Be forward thinking and look at ways of improving processes and performance.
