Working with a large team of high performing finance professionals (many of whom are Big 4 OR top 10 trained) you will take on a key role in supporting financial reporting for a number of legal entities, driving continuous improvement projects across finance and operations and participating, in time, in the evolution of stakeholder engagement in the global organisation. ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for delivery of a number of world wide income statements Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including P&L, Balance Sheet and variance analysis. Contribute to quarterly management reporting Manage the processes for the preparation of relevant statutory and tax statements/returns Assist with the preparation and co-ordination of Statutory Audits Create strong business partnerships and manager service levels with third party service providers Identify and drive process improvements Participate and add value to ad-hoc projects such as acquisition integration Support the Finance team in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes "Over the last 5 years we have put Cork on the map in our global business. We are looking for people that want to be a part of this journey, who like playing in a premiership finance team and who can potentially become leaders in this team in the future." - Head of Finance (Operations) ABOUT THE PERSON Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located in different locations Recognised accounting qualification Recently qualified with training through a large practice OR in a large structured multinational environment. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP is an advantage but not a prerequisite Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (experience with Oracle ERP or similar package is an advantage) Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
