Investment analyst responsibilities:

  • Regular communication with investment management companies.
  • Data requests to investment managers, typically for fund performance.
  • Analysis and charting of investment funds and products.
  • Producing reports that recommend investment managers to clients.
  • Conducting research meetings with investment managers.
  • Researching new and/or technical topics and reporting back to the team.

Investment analyst experience/qualifications:

  • Graduate level - keen interest in investment research
  • Associate level - experience in a research-based role within investments or pensions
  • Client facing experience would be highly advantageous
  • Good technical knowledge of investment strategies.
  • An industry qualification such as CFA or CAIA would be desirable.
