A permanent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Credit Controller to join a medium sized business based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is an entry level position with great training and career progression.

Working as part of an established team you will assist the Credit Controllers with Sales Ledger duties, general administration and much more. This is a full time position paying a salary of up to £21,000.

Client Details

My client are within the Utilities/Manufacturing sector and are based in the heart of St Albans. They are going through a period of growth and are therefore seeking an Assistant Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis and assist on an administrative basis. This is a varied role within an Accounts department, you will ideally have experience in a similar role and be keen to learn and have a career in the accounting field.

Description

  • Reporting into a hands on Credit Controller
  • Agreeing balances both written and verbally
  • Allocating cash
  • Dealing with queries
  • Emailing statements
  • General administration
  • Assisting other departments if necassery

Profile

  • Ideally a background in Credit Control or a Finance Department
  • Computer literate with good attention to detail
  • Team player who can multi task
  • Local to St Albans
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Organised
