Based around the CBD & West / North West region Permanent Full time position Further to this, on offer here is: Generous salary package including 12.5% super Close knit team that promotes a positive attitude to work Culture focused on the recognition of effort and reward for achievement About the role Hocim has an opportunity for a technical professional to join our team as a Technical Supervisor based within the CBD, West / North West region. Reporting to the Technical Manager Melbourne Metro, the successful applicant will Provide technical support and advice to the respective business and customers as well as monitor and report on quality targets and performance in accordance with Holcim''s key performance indicators. A key part of the role is to monitor product performance with changing sources and quality of raw materials, liaising with laboratories to ensure correct mixes are tested and in accordance with national standards. By providing sound technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders, you will be the key in securing new project work by recommending products to suit required performance parameters. About you Having had experience with concrete products in a similar role, with exposure in the construction materials industry, tertiary qualifications in engineering or science being an advantage. NATA laboratory experience would be an advantage, while Quality Management skills are preferable including SAI Global or equivalent internal auditor training. With the ability to develop internal and external customer relationships, you will need to meet tight deadlines and ensure high levels of attention to detail are met. Professional level written and verbal communication skills are essential along with a proficiency in Microsoft Office.
