With multiple large projects being completed, we continually work hand-in-hand with all external businesses involved to ensure that new assets comply with the standards we set whilst providing a safe and reliable passenger service.The PositionThe Manager Process Interface provides leadership to a team of technical individuals to manage, evolve and optimise the engineering governance processes and reports to the Manager Engineering Systems within the Office of the Chief Engineer.This position is the primary interface between the Office of the Chief Engineer and internal stakeholders including Projects, Infrastructure, OCMS, Rolling Stock, Integration & Transformation and Operations in regards to understanding, application and compliance with the engineering governance processes.This position will lead the interface activities for engineering governance with key internal and external stakeholders for Projects (both franchise and alliance based), Infrastructure Maintenance & Renewals (M&R), OCMS M&R and Rolling Stock Upgrade Projects. RequirementsYou will require a tertiary qualification in engineering that is suitable for membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, or an appropriate technical qualification with proven industry capability.In previous positions you would've gained experience as a senior or manager where you have lead a team and liaised with a combination of internal and external stakeholders.It's advantageous to have knowledge of rail industry statutory obligations, regulations and Metro Trains Melbourne policies will ensure alignment with engineering governance strategies.Benefits
