To support the accounts payable processes required to transact timely and accurate payment to suppliers, validate the supplier invoice, obtain appropriate approvals and account the same in ENEC Financial Systems in accordance with IFRS.


1. Processing Supplier Payments


Responsibility:

Utilize SAP ERP, and other business systems, to support timely and accurate accounts payable (AP) process, which includes: receiving invoices and efficiently implementing internal flow to ensure recording related expense/assets/CWIP and monthly accruals, correcting cost center and accounts, and auditing payable against internal controls and delegation of authorities.
Audit AP payment requests against audit checklist, and follow up with the appropriate stakeholder/s for supporting documentation as necessary in accordance with NAWAH procedures.
Liaise with procurement department, and other NAWAH departments, to ensure that the payment terms of the agreements/POs/LVPOs…etc. are in line with FNA requirements and sub DOA.
Respond to all supplier queries regarding payment processing in order to ensure contractual obligations are met.
2. Accounting, Reconciliation and Reporting


Responsibility:
Responsibility: Prepare the reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts as delegated to look for anomalies and variances to be escalated to line management.
Reconcile Vendor/Supplier Statement of Accounts as required.
Support in accounting of supplier invoices, credit notes and periodic closure of AP sub-module within the timelines.
3. Stakeholder Engagement


Responsibility:


Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.


4. HSE


Responsibility:


Follow all relevant departmental HSE policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee's place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work.
