INSURNACE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL!
A small yet highly successful Lloyd's broker are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join their middle office team. Working closely with the brokers and processing teams the successful candidates will handle all aspects of Binding Authority/Facility type business.
The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of both ATLAS and BAR's systems, a full understanding of Binder/Facility business and a strong knowledge of insurance/reinsurance.
The Job itself will require: -
- Liaising and maintaining good relations with Clients, Underwriters and Lloyd's Delegated Authorities Team and/or equivalent.
- Provide full technical support to the brokers ensuring the complete and accurate completion of the risk placement/endorsement process.
- Producing placing slips/endorsements as well as all other relevant exhibits required when placing risks, such as bordereau etc. and ensuring all documentation is properly authorised.
- Manage all technical aspects with regard to Binding Authority/Facility business. Including the day to day management of the Atlas and BARS Systems.
- Ensure risk is Sanction compliant using internal system (Client Clear).
- Completion of all in-house systems.
- Ensure Firm Order Confirmations are prepared and issued following placement of risks and endorsements.
- Liaising with both broking team and premium processing to ensure the completed risk files move from one to the other in a timely manner.
- Broking and marketing of risks when required.
