Career Coach and Recruitment Specialist Permanent Contract Full time Role based in Chartered Accountants House Dublin. Chartered Accountants Ireland (“The Institute”) is a membership body representing 26,000 influential members throughout the globe. Our role is to educate, represent and support our members. The Role: This role is with Chartered Accountants Ireland's Member Service department which provides professional development supports to members in areas such as CPD and training, specialist qualifications as well as providing a career coaching and recruitment service. The Career Coach and Recruitment Specialist will be providing a best in class and easily accessible recruitment and career coaching service; provide career coaching and career development support to members  and play a key role in providing a professional recruitment service to members and client organisations. The Career Coach and Recruitment Specialist will act as a key engagement point for members at all levels and provide impartial and confidential careers advice, coaching and recruitment support. The Expectations: By providing a professional and career coaching and development service that fully integrates with the other elements of the Chartered Accountants Ireland professional development offering, the overall aim of this role is to facilitate the provision of additional career coaching supports to members as part of Chartered Accountants Ireland Strategy 2020. The Career Coach and Recruitment Specialist will be expected to achieve agreed revenue targets. Overall responsibilities may vary from time to time, but will include: Raising awareness of the career coaching and recruitment service with members of Chartered Accountants Ireland in Ireland and overseas, to include appropriate communication, marketing and promotional activities. Raising awareness of the recruitment service with companies who recruit Chartered Accountants across all industry sectors including practice, industry and financial services. This will include active engagement in proactive business development activities via phone, in person and on-line. These activities will focus on creating and developing long term brand enhancing client relationships. Providing a ‘full service' recruitment resource for members of Chartered Accountants Ireland, including: Ensuring that the service provides members with a comprehensive range of job opportunities for which they can apply, Sourcing new clients and roles and actively promote the service to potential clients, Reach out to members who are registered with the service and provide them with details of potential opportunities, Support members with the preparation of their curriculum vitae and on-line profile, Conduct mock interviews and provide interview coaching support , Interview and assess members suitability for job opportunities and provide constructive feedback, Provide members with market information and insight into recent trends and developments. Providing a comprehensive recruitment resource for employers, including: Liaison with employers in relation to job opportunities and potential candidates, Guiding employers in relation to conducting a professional recruitment process , Drafting of relevant advertisements and social media marketing initiatives, Relationship management and key account management - Acting as the main point of contact, Coordination of, and support to interviews between employers and member candidates, Making offers to candidates on behalf of clients and conducting reference checks. Providing a best in class as first point of contact for career coaching services to members of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Using recognized professional coaching methodologies and techniques help members to identify, pursue and achieve career goals including career fulfilment, career transition and progression to reach their full career potential. Work with members to identify career and personal values, talents & transferable skills and areas for professional development. Working collaboratively with other Departments within chartered Accountants Ireland, and build long term relationships with key external stakeholders. Providing career planning and development advice and support to members in collaboration with the Professional Development Team including attendance at conferring ceremonies and open evenings. The Candidate: Essential This role requires an individual who can establish proactive and trusting relationships with members and employers based upon credible experience and expertise. Candidates should have a third level qualification, a minimum of two years relevant recruitment experience, Excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills A proven track record in initiating, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with should be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels, including c-suite level. Candidates should be committed to contributing fully to a team of professionals who operate at the very centre of development of the accountancy profession in the island of Ireland The position will interest those who enjoy a challenge and working in a busy and dynamic role. Ultimately, they should have the dynamism and enthusiasm to ensure that our vision for a value added career development and recruitment service for our members is fulfilled. Flexibility is essential as attendance at occasional evening events will be required. Previous experience in a revenue generating role required. Desirable A recognised coaching qualification and experience is desirable Experience in the educational, membership or professional services sector is desirable.
