Brightwater are pleased to be partnering with a leading public sector body urgently seeking to add additional support their accounting function. Based in their Belfast office, the Finance Officer will add vital support to a busy finance function as they enter a particularly busy period. The key responsibilities of the post include: - Preparation and submission of the annual report and accounts for audit - Assisting on the preparation of business cases - Ensuring public sector governance and procedures are adhered to at all times - Assisting with other areas of the finance function as required This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant with previous experience working in a public sector environment. Previous exposure to Account NI would be an advantage. Our client are seeking someone available to start immediately and remain in the role until the summer.
