This is a brilliant opportunity for someone that is looking for a role that involves liaises with various departments of the business and enjoys building internal and external relationships. This organisation is at the forefront of their industry and have been established for over 10 years.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include the following:

• Responsibility for elements of the P&L and balance sheets
• Designing, implementing and operating processes and controls
• Ownership of posting of all pay and agency accruals
• Preparation of monthly agency and Pay costs associated balance sheet reconciliations
• Designing and implementing reports for Agency and Pay costs which inform analysis conducted by the Financial Analysts
• Work with recruitment partners to create meaningful costs data that is provided to Financial Analysts and Senior Finance Business Partners
• Provide timely, informative and reliable reports to support all agency and Pay costs elements of monthly management accounts
• Responsible for the exit of contracts, ensuring accurate P&L reporting, and closing down of balance sheet balances before contract end dates.

Profile

The successful applicant will possess the following skill sets:

• Ideally at the latter stages of CIMA/ACCA
• Must be able to articulate themselves to non financial operational contacts
• Experience of accounts preparation from trial balance to final accounts
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure of tight deadlines
• Confidence to challenge operational management when appropriate
• Ability to build strong relationships and with the ability to work in a team.
