To assist in ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place to safeguard the company assets and provide management information.

To supervise the workflow of the assistant accountants and to be primary contact for finance enquiries from departmental managers.

Description

  • To supervise the workflow of the assistant accountants and to be primary contact for finance enquiries from departmental managers.Management of recharges between group companies

  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts

  • Review expense claims to ensure compliance with company policy

  • Manage sterling, euro and US dollar bank accounts

  • Assist with regular cash flow forecasting

  • Submission of all returns for VAT, intrastat, EC sales listings and ONS

  • Responsible for monthly payment of PAYE, pension contributions and other deductions

  • Responsible for health and safety within department

  • Dealing with ad hoc stock enquiries to determine and ensure accurate accounting is maintained

  • Assist with preparation of annual budget

Profile

Qualified or QBE Accountant with team management experience and available to start in the next few weeks
