Financial Accountant

I am currently working with a truly unique client based in West Kent on a brand new role in their accounts team. They are seeking a talented Financial Accountant either making their first move out of practice or 2nd move out of industry.

Client Details

My client are number one in their field and a brand name that is loved across the world. They have recently undergone a change in ownership and now require talented financial accountants to bolster their internal controls.

Description

The role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Assistance with structured group month-end close.

• To act as primary support for the accounting function of certain subsidiaries.

• Monthly consolidation of group companies.

• Involvement in the budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries/functions.

• Preparation of client assistant package for auditors.

• Liaison with auditors.

• Ad hoc projects.

Profile

The ideal profile for this role will be as close to the following as possible:

• ACA qualified (Ideally 1st time passes)
• Strong academic background (ideally Russell Group University)
• Trained from a top 10 practice
• Up to 2 years PQE
• Strong excel skills
• Exposure to UK/US Gaap
• Strong IFRS knowledge

Job Offer

• £40,000-£50,000
• Up to 23.5 days annual leave (increasing to 25)
