Financial Accountant (FMCG)

Our client, a successful, rapidly growing global business working in the FMCG sector have engaged Barden to identify a high calibre, recently qualified accountant, to take on a broad accounting role. Working with a small, tightly knit finance team and directly with the Financial Controller your role will be varied and present great opportunity for learning and professional development. ABOUT THE ROLE: Responsibility for the month-end process including P&L, Balance Sheet, budget and variance analysis Responsibility for completion of statutory reporting for the group and liasing with the external auditors Coordinate with other offices within the group Liaising with the tax advisors and others in relation to VAT and corporation tax compliance requirements Business process improvement and similar team enhancing activity ABOUT THE PERSON: Recently Qualified Accountant Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
