The Group Financial Controller is a crucial member of staff within this US listed business based in Oxford. Overseeing the UK, Dubai, Paris, Berlin and Rotterdam operations as part of the EMEA region.

A well established global distributor specialising in several warehouse, aircraft and outdoor products.
Description
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing support to the EMEA Finance Director and US SMT from a financial, strategic and commercial perspective while ensuring operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include: -
- Lead the EMEA accounting function through month end, year end and key budgeting periods.
- Work with EMEA BU's to establish finance and accounting strategy whilst maximising financial performance and position.
- Provide enhanced analysis to BU's across EMEA whilst giving recommendation to US.
- Work with BU's on annual planning and five year strategic outlook.
- Monitor cash-flow, accounts and other financial transactions.
- Represent EMEA in the US on business wide performance and budgetary planning.
- Provide regular reports on both a monthly and annual basis.
- Act as main contact for both internal and external audit activity.
- Support the UK MD on optimising UK performance in challenging market conditions.
- Supervise the existing finance team with day to day responsibilities including; payroll, invoicing, credit control and management reporting.
- Implement effective internal control, process and policy.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be: -
- Practice trained - ACA/ACCA Qualified (5+ years experience desirable).
- Familiar with complex multi-national structures.
- Comfortable working with a variety of systems (SAP desirable)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at operational and board level.
- Able to demonstrate integrity and reliability.
- Confident in leading a change management process.
- Flexible with ad-hoc international travel.
- Familiar with UKGAAP/USGAAP/IFRS requirements as well as regulatory and taxation requirements.
Job Offer
£70,000 - £80,000 + Car + Bonus + Healthcare.
