Client Details
My client are a growing company and sell their products to well known retailers across the UK. They have a medium sized finance team at their head office in St Albans and are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis, looking after their Accounts Receivables function and then progressing in the future. The company are an excellent employer and offer great training, study support and progression.
Description
- Assisting the Credit Control team
- Raising invoices and credits and assigning them to correct general ledger
- Reconciliation and allocation of self-billed customer accounts
- Process refund requests
- Ad hoc reporting
- Raising delivery discrepancy reports and tracking progress through to completion
- Processing of account applications, including credit checking
Profile
- Ideally a background in a similar role, working within a finance department
- Team player who is eager to learn and progress
- Good communication skills and happy to assist others
- Proficient with Excel
- Hard working
- Numerate
