Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Purpose:
To assist the Deputy Finance Manager and lead the day to day management of the payments to all of the suppliers for goods and services received.
To be responsible for the day to day supervision of the creditor payments team and for the timely process of appropriately coded and authorised invoices and credit notes.
Communicating with suppliers, supplies and purchasing department, authorised signatories and financial management.
Responsible for training new members of the credit payments team, reviewing and continually improving current and computerised and manual systems/procedures relating to creditor payments and working with the Deputy Finance Manager and other finance staff in improving other designated ledger functions.
To assist in ensuring compliance with the Better Payment Practice Code (BPPC), whilst ensuring good systems of internal control.
