Description
Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:
Monthly Payroll Processing
- Coordinate payroll data, liaising with HR as applicable, ensuring complete and timely processing in accordance with payroll schedules/deadlines
- Ensure all monthly processes are completed in accordance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and payroll vendor procedures
- Responsible for the validation of all payrolls
- Responsible for completing the payroll checklists, ensuring all tasks have been completed in accordance with agreed deadlines e.g., distributing reports
- Raise third party payments, as applicable; e.g., pensions, PAYE, etc
Data Entry
- Responsible for processing data relating to stock, dividends & expatriates
- Ensure accurate data entry onto spread sheets and peer review process followed
Query Resolution
- Investigate all queries escalated by the outsourced vendor
- Liaise with outsourced vendor team as appropriate to ensure seamless service to the business
- Investigate and resolve queries
- Liaise with Global Mobility team to assist with resolution of complex expatriate queries, providing copy payslips/P60s as required
- Assisting HR with all payroll related queries
- Providing guidance and support to HR on all payroll processes
Payroll Processes (general)
- Manage the overpayment process, working with outsourced payroll vendor to ensure timely identification and recovery of all overpayments
- Raise all advance and manual payments (including severance payments), ensuring accuracy and timely completion in accordance with HR instructions
- Process BACs recall requests
- Raise cheques
- Provide copies of payslips to HR Business Partners, Global Mobility Compensation Manager, etc.
Profile
Payroll Coordinator Requirements:
- Recognised payroll qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience leading a payroll delivery team or function.
- Experience working within a payroll advisory role is a must!
- Versatile system experience a must!
- Experience working with an outsourced payroll vendor
- An effective team leader
- Problem solving - able to identify and work logically to provide solutions to queries/issues
- Confident, outgoing, diligent, and hard working with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate needs both verbally and in written form.
