Junior Data Analyst - Financial Services - Cork

I am currently engaged to source a Data Analyst in Cork city on a permanent basis on behalf of my client a global Data service provider to various financial services entities including private banks, custodians, investment Managers and pension funds. This company are an award winning enterprise with 300+ clients globally in over 40 countries and among them 9 of the 10 largest Asset Managers in the world. The role is geared towards an exceptional graduate with 1 or 2 years experience in a Financial Services environment. Responsibilities • Support the Suite of products and services providing Customers with key information and Analytical solutions. • Learn new technology and grow in an ever changing environment • Working in a team and individually on assigned tasks • Source Index information from different sources ie FTSE and conduct research to provide information to clients • Escalate data issues to technical help desk Requirements • An honours University Degree - Economics, Finance, Commerce, Maths desirable • Numerically minded with great attention to detail • Strong communication skills • Ability to multitask • Advanced user in Microsoft Excel Salary for this role is negotiable depending on previous experience Please contact Liam Murphy if you meet the key criteria and wish to apply
