Compliance Monitoring - Fintech

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of our new exciting clients is looking for proactive compliance monitoring professionals. The client is a vibrant FinTech company based in Shoreditch and is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated personnel to expand their growing compliance division. This is a great role for someone who wants to keep their finger on the pulse in the rapidly growing FinTech sector.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the team in managing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of compliance programs and plans.
• Maintain compliance policies and registers.
• Oversee risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Prepare regulatory applications and submit returns to the FCA.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a framework to ensure adequate identification, assessment, communication, control and monitoring of compliance and regulatory risks.
• Work as part of a team and take the lead in projects.
• Contribute to an effective compliance culture within the business.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience within financial services, preferably within banking or FinTech.
• Expertise in policies and procedures, monitoring and regulatory impact.
• Good generalist compliance experience.
• Confidence and professionalism to liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders including Regulators.
• A fun, proactive personality with a willingness to learn.
