My client, an Accountancy Practice in Rochester is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Client Manager to join their team Monday-Friday 9-5pm for a 12 month contract initially, but this is very likely to go permanent.

This role is for someone who is looking to work within a firm that is forward thinking, dynamic and cares about their employees. You must be a qualified Accountant and worked in Practice in order to apply.

Overall job description and day to day duties below:

Accounts and Tax

-Preparation of Sole Trader accounts

-Preparation of Partnership accounts

-Preparation of Limited Company accounts- including sending to client and authorities

-Preparation of Non-Trading accounts

-Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns- including sending to client and authorities

-Preparation of Partnership Tax Returns- including sending to client and authorities

-Preparation of Company Tax Returns CT600- including sending to client and authorities

-Assist junior member with the preparation of working papers to ensure company standard is met

All of the above must be completed using company working papers and IRIS software; submission to be made to authorities after client confirmation

Payroll

-Payroll and Auto-Enrolment processing when required due to holiday cover, entering payroll journals into client software where we complete the bookkeeping

-CIS deduction processing each month and submission of the EPS where clients have CIS suffered in the period

-CIS reconciliation statements when received from the Revenue

-Completion of forms P11d and P11d(b)

-PAYE refund requests

-Assist clients with Auto-Enrolment changes where necessary

VAT

-Reviewing and sending of VAT returns.

-Assisting junior members with VAT queries as necessary

CS01

-Assist Admin Manager with any questions

-Client Quotes and Bill

-Quote for any additional work in excess of fixed fees and pass onto Admin Manager

-Answer customers queries where appropriate

Other

-Maintaining professional relationships with your clients so that you are best placed to advise and assist. To include responding to client queries in good time

-Managing workflow of jobs using IRIS

-Ensure client deadlines are met, provide necessary help and support for clients to ensure completion on time

-Client meetings to answer queries and run through accounts prepared

-Dealing with H.M.R.C compliance checks other than those that relate to Tax Planning

-Responding to Revenue and client questions by letter, email and phone

-Client training on software/accounts as necessary

-Iris updating for new contact details- change of address, phone numbers. This can include ensuring our admin team carry out these changes

-Professional clearance letters and responses to other accountants review

-Follow guidelines and ethical codes under ACCA membership

-Must be able to carry out a set of accounts in 8 hours

-Able to do small, big and CIS Accountants

-Good with softwares and ideally used IRIS and XERO before.
