Corporate Development & Strategy - Financial Analyst - Infrastructure

This Melbourne based, unlisted company is the owner of multiple infrastructure assets. It is a high profile, well respected and critical part of the Melbourne community and economy and is a local employer of choice. It also has extensive land holdings, both leased and owned and there is the opportunity to guide the development of, and develop strategies for, the vacant land.

The role will be to provide high quality analysis, financial modelling and commercial insights to the Strategy Team, and key stakeholders of the business. The evaluation of key strategic projects and business improvement initiatives along with maintaining and improving the corporate financial model are all key elements of this role.

Ideally, you will have a degree in finance, commerce or engineering combined with 1-3 years' experience in investment banking, project finance or experience from an accounting firm. The position will require the incumbent to work with a high degree of independence, capable of self-motivation, continued self-improvement and the ability to adapt readily to change and challenges. We would expect this person to interact effectively with the senior management team immediately and grow throughout the organisation over time.
