Black Swan Group have been engaged to source for a Senior Transitions Manager for a leading asset manager in the heart of the city. This role would require extensive exposure to transitioning new clients within the Institutional space and will operate at VP level.

It is essential candidates will be highly experienced overseeing the coordination of all client events and end to end transition activity. Candidates will also come from a similar client on boarding/transitions role from an asset management firm to work across the business including Front Office ensuring timely processing/coordinating of end-to-end transition activity for institutional clients across multi asset classes.

This is a high profile varied role, requiring prior strategic experience of process improvements to establish internal processes to support transition activity front to back. In addition, candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across internal teams including Front Office as well as with external relationships.

The main responsibility of this role will be to manage the on-boarding, off-boarding, client custodian or administrator changes and major mandate re-organisations for EMEA Institutional clients supported by Client Services from the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Attend pipeline meetings with Client Management teams to understand the up-coming activity
  • Work with Client Management and the client to get a full understanding of the clients requirement
  • Plan and manage each transition event including leading issue resolution or escalation where required
  • Identify all parties internally and at our suppliers that need to be involved in each event
  • Communicating with internal teams to ensure that they are clear on what is required of them
  • Provide regular updates to the participants in each event and MI to Management on the overall status of transition events
  • Build relationships around the organisation e.g. Client Management, Legal, Technology, Data Management, Business Unit Compliance to facilitate the smooth execution of client events
  • Identify, agree and implement improvements to the transition processes
  • Work with the rest of the Client Service team to ensure a clean handover of clients within the team
  • Contribute to RFP and Client Due Diligence requests and meetings
