What does this job offer you? This job offers an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to develop FP&A experience under the guidance of a Senior FP&A Accountant in an established and rapidly growing international manufacturing company. Your New Job: This job has been created by the company's CFO and Financial Controller in response to the rapid increase in business in the last 12 months. As a Qualified Accountant  in a medium-large finance team, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills in management accounting, variance analysis, business analysis and manufacturing support. Mentored & managed by the Senior FP&A Accountant, you will have responsibility for sales & margin analysis by business unit/customer/product profitability, sales forecasting, actual v standard costs variance analysis and assisting with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting with specific responsibility for rebates, discounts, costs, claim-backs. You will liaise regularly with Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, Planning, Costing and IT Teams to ensure accuracies in financial information and to prepare ad-hoc reports as required. You will work very closely with the Warehouse Managers to reconcile reports in the areas of stock, goods received notes, and stock adjustments on a weekly and monthly basis and to implement improvements in these areas.  You will also play an active role in the year-end stock-takes and take responsibility for preparing the monthly claim-backs due from suppliers. Other accounting activities will include preparing Enterprise Ireland grant claims, new grant applications & annual return and providing relevant information for year-end audit.
