State Street's IMS (Investment Manager Services) is an integrated solution of technology, operations and processes for an Investment Manager who has outsourced their core investment operations functions to State Street. This typically includes trade management, settlements, data management, investment recordkeeping, valuations, reconciliations, cash forecasting, corporate actions, client reporting and information delivery. By outsourcing these functions to State Street, clients are able to free up resources to focus on expanding their product offerings and increasing their global reach, whilst taking advantage of our integrated, scalable platforms without incurring long-term technology expenditures.
Position Summary
This is a varied position with a high level of responsibility within the business implementation team, within Investment Manager Services (Asia Pac Region). The business implementation team includes 3 core roles: Project Managers, Business Analysts and Operational Readiness Analysts. The 3 roles need to ensure that the client on-boarding process is managed, analysed and documented from the due diligence phase all the way through to the post conversion support phase in line with State Streets client on-boarding playbook.
The goal is a smooth client implementation with no major issues and a positive client experience. The team is responsible for initiating, analysing, tracking, completing and escalating a wide range of tasks and documentation for new client implementations.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure all assigned client on-boarding tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe
Sample areas of focus are:
Planning, execution and documentation of client due diligence workshops
First contact point for the client for all issues and queries relating to the assigned work-stream/project
Identification, documentation and ownership of issues, gaps and risks
Active engagement with all internal stakeholders for issues and gaps resolution
Documentation of current and future-state business processes and procedures
Plan and manage requirements approval process and changes to requirements scope and/or solution
Active engagement with the Business Architects and Operational Leads for issues resolution and accurate documentation of the Future State Operating Model (FSOM)
Collaborative approach when dealing with the client/stakeholders
Being the interface between technology teams, support teams, business units and the client to deliver customised solutions for the on-boarding process
Facilitating workshops to capture requirements across multiple stakeholders and then documenting these requirements in a clear and concise manner, for use in subsequent solution design and story generation.
Having strong technical skills, business intelligence and a full understanding of the needs of the client

Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Proven track record in a middle/back office or project environment, with a minimum 3-5 year's experience
Good understanding of the Investment Management industry, with a minimum 5 years industry experience
Good understanding of Investment Manager Operations, particularly around processes and key deliverables
Proven ability to communicate in English in a clear, concise and professional manner
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure
Good understanding of State Street operations - technical, systems, policies and procedures - is an advantage
Proficient knowledge of MS Visio, MS Office, MS PowerPoint and/or MS Project is required
Previous experience working in an Agile and waterfall (hybrid) environment
