Financial Reporting Accountant - Industry Role

One of Northern Ireland's top 100 businesses are seeking to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant to take on a Financial Reporting Accountant position on an initial 9 month maternity cover contract with possible extension. This is not your typical month-end accounting position, here you will be afforded a lot of client exposure as you prepare P&Ls and Cost Reports and translate and report to them. However, as this is a fluid team you will be expected to get involved in multiple areas such as Payroll, VAT returns and Purchase Ledger management. The ideal candidate will not only be a technically astute accountant who is proficient in MS Office (namely Excel) and ERP systems, but you will also have a desire to learn new skills, 'roll your sleeves up' and get involved in every aspect of the finance function.
