The ADL site also includes laboratories and cold chain warehouse capabilities * There is a strong culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the plant * We are proud of our award-winning environmental sustainability programme * Amgen is developing the capability to produce all of its medicines in Dun Laoghaire, helping to ensure continuity of supply of our medicines as we expand internationally Job description: Key areas of responsibility include: Accounting * Determine local accounting and tax treatments under local GAAP in partnership with global tax and accounting colleagues * Key relationship manager with EY Auditor and manage the audit process from end to end. * Own the preparation of all statutory reporting including audited accounts and all tax filings * Provide required information for monthly/quarterly close to Global Accounting Hub Tax * Key relationship partner with PwC Tax * Tax return preparation in conjunction with outsourced partner * VAT/Intrastat return preparation and ownership * Other tax filings as required * Support profitability monitoring and Transfer Pricing analysis in conjunction with tax team * Lead all initiatives on Revenue questions or audits as they may arise Other: * Own the preparation and submission of reports for government bodies * Determine best practices with Accounting colleagues on other manufacturing sites * Support the Financial Payment review * Support the annual IICE (Non_Sox testing). * Adhoc projects. Required profile: Basic Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification * Demonstrated technical knowledge of accountancy , relevant laws, local taxes, and accounting systems/processes * Demonstrated capability to learn quickly, being open and flexible to changes, in a multinational environment * Demonstrates a high level of analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems * Excellent oral as well as written communication * Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Office environment, particularly MS Excel Preferred Requirements: * Experience in an international finance department * Experience in Manufacturing Industry * Experience with SAP or similar ERP Solution * Experience with Financial Statement Reporting software * Experience with US GAAP What we offer: Benefits of working at Amgen: As a pioneer in our industry, Amgen is proud to offer a fantastic benefits package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
