Junior Credit Controller

Credit Controller/Purchase Ledger Clerk is needed on a temporary basis with possible immediate start. The role is based a walking distance from the Kings Cross underground station in a busy office of a company predominantly dealing with wholesale of food products. However from Dec this year the company is going to relocate to Woolwich Arsenal so the candidate must be able to travel to both sites.

Description

The successful Junior Credit Controller will join the team on a contract basis in their accountancy team: based in London (Kings Cross and then moving to Woolwich Arsenal)

- Chasing customer for payment for payments (accountancy)

- Hours of work are 8.30 to 17.00 with 30 min break.

- The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with customers as well as other stakeholders of the business.

- Allocating bank payments.

- Will be responsible for Sales Ledger.

- Negotiating payment terms.

- Helping to manage the petty cash.

- Dealing with any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Profile

The successful Junior Credit Controller will have the following accountancy experience:

- At least one year experience in accounts/finance department (preferably credit control)

- Has prior experience using SAP

- Ability to commute to Woolwich Arsenal and Kings Cross (London)

Job Offer

The successful Junior Credit Controller will be based in London, they are currently based by Kings Cross and are moving to Woolwich Arsenal.
