Finance Manager

Represent the finance department throughout the rest of the business and ensure that the financial accounting procedures are effective and reliable.

Description

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and all aspects of financial control.
• Ensure that the budgets and forecasts for the balance sheet and cashflow statement is accurate.
• Responsibility for the stock ledger, ensuring all stock transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
• Working to meet group deadlines.
• Managing junior members of staff.

Profile

• Strong practice background and be comfortable will all aspects of financial accounts and statutory accounts.
• VAT & General tax experience.
• Understanding of current standards within UK Accountancy (UK GAAP)
• ACCA/ACA or equivalent
• 3 years post qualification experience
• You will be a natural leader, articulate and personable.
