This top retail business are at the forefront of their industry. Their head accounting office is based near Old Street, City of London.

Description

As the Commercial Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

• Production of the weekly trading report
• Key part of the implementation of the new BI Tool TM1, to facilitate reporting across the business
• Production of the monthly management accounts, working closely with the transactional finance team Responsible for monthly store performance analysis
• Understand cost base; understanding actuals and identifying risks & opportunities, ensuring cost focus with tight control over cost centres
• Conduct monthly cost reviews with budget holders
• Business Partnering; build awareness across the business & key liaison for all financial decision-making affecting the business, in particular with Logistics
• Key involvement in the annual budget and planning process
• Insightful analysis as required by the business, providing recommendations and decision support

Profile

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Actively Studying towards CIMA or ACCA
  
• Exposure to working within a fashion retail business preferable
  
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (Other systems; IP, Sun knowledge desirable)
  
• Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
  
• Strong analytical ability, accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  
• Be a self-starter and ability to manage own time, priorities and drive key projects
  

Job Offer

£32,000 - £35,000 + study support + excellent benefits
