Senior Payroll Project Leader

We currently require a Payroll Project Lead for a 6-month contract based in central Belfast. The role will provide Payroll Support in the managing of Payroll project to go live. Key responsibilities include: To support the project team in bringing Payroll services to Shared Service Centre in Belfast To provide feedback to the client team and other work streams within Capita around key deliverables To provide regular updates on progress to milestones To display a sound knowledge of payroll To work with existing Payroll Controller to ensure new service will run alongside current payroll processing To ensure migration of payroll data is balanced prior to parallel through to go live To manage and participate in the parallel run process through to go-live Essential experience: Extensive experience working in Payroll Experience of transitioning payrolls to a new platform Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation Experience of working in a customer facing environment Service Introduction (projects)experience Experience of supporting the processing of a Payroll CIPP qualified Moderate excel knowledge Computer literate Proven quality record Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills Experience in the use of CRM and Payroll systems Technology/Reporting Desirable: Understanding of performance management techniques Experience of using ResourceLink ILM Knowledge of Microsoft Access Knowledge of Microsoft Project Follow Capita on twitter @capitacareers Follow Capita on facebook @careersatcapita Capita Resourcing welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of gender, race, disability, age or sexual orientation.
