Michael Page is working exclusively with a dynamic and forward thinking manufacturing business in North Nottingham to hire a Financial Controller - Operations to deliver support from an operational perspective to the UK Division.

Description

As the Financial Controller - Operations, you will be required to business partner with the Manufacturing Director for the UK and to deliver robust and relevant management information. Critically, the role will require the successful candidate to drive improvement and efficiency throughout the UK facilities.

Other key duties will include:

• Lead a small operational finance team
• Challenge, influence and support the Manufacturing Director
• Own the delivery of the budget cycle and the forecasts
• Sit on the Senior Management Team to deliver strategy

Profile

• Have a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of manufacturing accounting including WIP, stock and BOMs
• Have the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
• Want to progress within a leading local business
