COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

As a Drawdown Compliance Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert on all documentation, security taking and queries relating to the commercial, corporate and CCA regulated lending products of the Bank.

So what would you be doing?...

• Instructing valuers and solicitors ensuring legal due diligence is completed whilst fulfilling all conditions precedent to drawdown
• Self-certifying your own and others' facility documentation and drawdowns within the mandate awarded
• Analysing the detail of issues and risks and will implement resolution strategies
• Planning and review deal flow to ensure all drawdowns happen in a timely fashion
• Handling all pre drawdown queries and issues from the panel solicitor, borrower's solicitor and colleagues
• Creating and maintaining relationships with colleagues and professional legal firms, ensuring that all facility documentation is produced accurately and in a timely manner

• Understanding of commercial lending requirements, post credit sanction, in order to create and sustain operational excellency
• Understanding of facility letters with exposure to negotiating terms that govern the document
• Able to deliver great service and understand security and legal documentation
• Knowledge of the legal due diligence process for commercial lending
